The washed out colors was a way to make the game look more vintage and old (aka more WW2 style). Which doesn't make sense to me, since it's a first person shooter, not a WW2 documentary. The washed out colors make the game unplayable imho. Yeah, I wish they had an option to have "true colors".
The multiplayer on PC is almost dead and getting it to work is a royal pain in the ass due to it coming with an outdated version of punk buster anti cheat. There’s always at least 400 people online on 360 and upwards of 1000 during peak hours. You’ll find a TDM game without a problem. Moderate hackers compared to BO 1 and 2.
